My love of playing music started at age 5, playing a variety of instruments at school and listening to my mothers records of great composers such as Vaughan Williams, Grieg, Dvorak, Smetana, Beethoven and Mozart.

I grew up in London, spending a lot of my teenage years in the Goethe Institute where my father worked. Here I was immersed in culture and art, and being in Exhibition Road, where all the great museums are located, I was fortunate revel in some of the finest art and science in the world.

This love of art and science perfectly fits the rigorous technical demands of being a music producer with the free form dynamics of a music composer.  

I am merely the sum of so many influences that have made me who I am today.

Biography

Wernher Pramschufer is a visionary composer and producer with a lifelong passion for film and music.

A highly experienced and internationally acclaimed composer, music producer and arranger Wernher has the skills and passion to create exciting and emotional music that appeals to a wide-ranging audience. He is dedicated to new, innovative work whilst expanding and enriching the boundaries of contemporary music.  

Wernher delivers his music at the highest professional level and combines the best of cutting edge sound design fused with poignant orchestration.



Wernher has composed for television and theatre in the UK ("Posh Lot", Channel 4) and written the music for "Vincent", a critically acclaimed music drama on the life of Vincent van Gogh. The soundtrack of the cast album, which he produced, was distributed in London's West End and on Broadway, in New York.

A concert of the score highlights was later performed on Brisbane's South Bank by the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra. Wernher was also the subject of a nationally screened documentary in the UK entitled 'Roll Over Lloyd Webber". 



He is also a music producer with a portfolio of fifteen albums, twenty seven EP's and over fifty singles .

Wernher also managed London's Britannia Row (ex Pink Floyd studio) as a music producer and composer.



Wernher believes in highly marketable entertainment, drawing upon years of skill in composition, performance and production to deliver emotionally charged music in most contemporary styles.

He combines strong communication skills with an intuitive understanding of client’s requirements and deadlines. A classically trained guitarist, pianist and orchestral arranger he writes and produces music that is dramatic and exciting yet accessible to audiences of all ages.
